Travel Quest – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Travel Quest (“we”, “our”, “app”) collects, uses, and protects your information.
Travel Quest is designed for families and children and follows a privacy-first policy. We collect only the minimum data required for the app to function.
Information We Collect
Travel Quest does not require personal identification such as name, email address or account creation to use the app.
We may collect:
a) User Input (Optional)
- Route names
- Location names
- Quest instructions created manually
- Age range settings for children
All input data is stored only on your own device. Travel Quest does not use cloud storage and does not store journeys or quests on external servers.
Your trip data never leaves your device unless you manually share it via the built-in QR transfer feature.
b) Location Services (Optional)
Travel Quest can optionally use your device’s location services (GPS) only for one purpose:
- Allowing you to add a stop based on your current location
Location data:
- ✅Is used briefly in real-time only
- ✅Is not stored
- ✅Is not saved to any server
- ✅Is not tracked or monitored over time
Your movement or travel history is never collected or recorded. Location permission is optional and can be disabled at any time in your device settings.
c) AI Quest Processing
If AI Mode is unlocked, user-provided input (location names, preferences, and age ranges) may be sent temporarily to Google’s Gemini AI service to generate:
- Quests
- Educational facts
- Quiz questions
AI processing rules:
- ✅Requests are anonymous
- ✅No personal data is attached
- ✅Inputs are not stored by Travel Quest or Google after processing
- ✅Data is not used for model training
- ✅No profiles or behavioral tracking exist

AI-generated content is created by third-party systems (Google Gemini).
- •Negoci / Travel Quest cannot guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or completeness of AI-generated content.
- •We are not responsible for incorrect output or content that may be considered inappropriate for children.
Parents remain fully responsible for reviewing, selecting, and approving all quests and content before allowing children to use them. AI output is provided as creative and educational assistance only, not authoritative information.
d) Technical Diagnostic Data
To improve reliability we may collect limited anonymous technical diagnostics, including:
- App version
- Device type
- Crash reports
These logs contain no personal information, are never used for tracking, and are collected only to resolve bugs and stability issues.
What We DO NOT Collect
Travel Quest does not collect:
- ❌Names
- ❌Email addresses
- ❌Accounts or logins
- ❌Phone numbers
- ❌Photos
- ❌Long-term GPS tracking
- ❌Advertising IDs
- ❌Behavioral tracking or analytics
- ❌Any child’s personal data
Children’s Privacy
Travel Quest is designed specifically for children and complies with COPPA and GDPR-K regulations.

- •No chat or communication features exist.
- •No advertisements or marketing content are shown.
- •The app contains only offline gameplay and self-contained features.
Parents maintain direct oversight of all created content and routes.
Data Storage
- ✅All journey data, quests and settings are stored locally on your own device only.
- ✅Never uploaded to cloud servers.
- ✅Transferable manually via QR sharing between your own devices.
Purchase information is handled exclusively by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and never processed or stored by Travel Quest.
Payments
All in-app purchases are processed securely by Apple or Google. Negoci / Travel Quest never receives payment details or billing information.
Third-Party Services
Travel Quest uses only:
- •Google Gemini AI — for optional content generation
- •Platform crash-reporting tools — Apple / Google
All services operate under strict privacy compliance agreements.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties.
No advertising or marketing partners receive data from Travel Quest.
Data Retention
- •App content exists only while the app is installed.
- •No journey or quest data exists on any servers.
- •AI input is discarded immediately after each request.
User Rights
- •Delete all Travel Quest data immediately by uninstalling the app.
